Speed Academy: Ages 9 – 18 (Foundational, Accelerated & Elite Performance)
The Speed Academy program designed for youth athletes to learn the techniques and mechanics of speed development. With a focus on linear and multi-directional speed. We offer three separate sessions that cater to the unique development needs of the athletes we train.
- Foundational Performance (ages 10-12): Our Youth curriculum places a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative strength and the introduction of essential muscular movement patterns. These are vital in establishing a child’s athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation.
- Accelerated Performance (ages 12 – 15): athletes train twice per week on the efficient movement patterns necessary to make faster cuts, have a more explosive first step, and improve straight ahead speed. If you want to beat the competition to the ball, improve your lateral speed, run better routes or improve on your 20, 40 or 60 yard dash then this program is for you!
- Elite Performance (ages 15 – 18+): Designed for High School athletes that want to earn a starting spot or compete at the college level. Strong emphasis is placed on strength and force production. If you want to put yourself in the best position to win that college scholarship then this training session is for you.
Vertical Jump Training: Ages 12 -18 (Accelerated & Elite Performance):
Designed for Volleyball & Basketball or other sport athletes that demand vertical power production. This is a 6 week program designed to progress each week in order to improve your vertical by 1 – 6 inches. We will use strength training to improve explosiveness. In addition, we will utilize various tools including a Vertimax platform.
VertiMax is one of the most effective Vertical Jump Training System because it is able to maximize both explosive leg power and arm swing velocity to maximize the vertical lift component leading to superior vertical jump performance gains.
VertiMax’s ability to maximize vertical leap performance which is a measure of explosive leg power will transfer to significant gains in other critical sports performance parameters such as first step quickness and overall speed.
Football Position Specific (Semi-Private) Technical Skills Clinics:

Whether you are trying to get off the bench or learn the skills necessary to master a new position, Velocity can help you meet your goals. Our one-of-a-kind football skills development program are position specific and administered in a small group (semi-private) setting so we can pay close attention to the details that make a great quarterback, lineman or wide receiver. Clinics last 3 hours, are giving on specified Saturday mornings and are designed to be semi-private and limited to only 4 athletes in order maximize the customization as well as the repetitions. A much more competitive option to private coaching.
Our coaches have had collegiate and NFL experience so they know what in the particular position they are training. This helps them understand what it take to make it to the next level and know exactly how to break down complex skills into the fundamental components
The Velocity Sports programs for professional and elite athletes are designed to provide peak physical stimulus that pushes the absolute limitations of elite athletic performance. Due to the customized and maximal intensity nature, recovery and regeneration methods are implemented. Our programs place the highest emphasis on applied and measurable performance, secondarily fine-tuning movement. Timelines to reach goals and exceed expectations are accelerated for this athletic population due to the elite competitive schedules and real-time demands. Team Training (Championship Performance):
Our Team Training programs are designed to deliver a challenging workout that is organized, educational, progressive, and customized for entire sport teams. Training sessions are typically conducted at the team’s training facility and focus primarily on linear speed and multi-directional skill development. Team Training programs are built to be sport relevant with medicine ball strengthening, body-weight resisted power development, energy system development, and speed ratios that apply directly to specific sports demands.
Private Training (Ages 12 – 18+):
